Linda, Had occasion today to meet Jenny Fosgate and Jacqueline Crisci who created the benbini watch — they have a board on pinterest and the website is http://www.benbini.com They are an Atlanta based company. The watch just won a major award at the NY baby show — only patented two bezel watch on the market. I think your readers would enjoy knowing about this.

    • Hi Jim,
Sounds interesting. It doesn’t fit the criteria for my Southern made feature in the AJC. Thanks for reaching out.

  10. Hi Linda!

Thank you for supporting Southern-made! My name is Mary Frances Flowers, and I own an eponymous accessories line out of Raleigh, NC. Our best-selling products come from our Custom Morse Code Collection. As a Southern belle growing up in Columbus, GA, I received more monogrammed items than I could count for birthdays and graduations. As a more-travelled adult, I found myself straying from the traditional monogram look and searching for something a bit more subtle to display my name proudly. The Morse Code Collection allows women to customize a necklace, ring, bracelet, or earring with letters, numbers, or words of their choosing in morse code. Men can customize a tie bar and, soon, a money clip and cufflinks, with their initials, the initials of a new child, a birthday, or an anniversary date. The possibilities are endless. Our morse code pieces are loved for their subtlety and beauty, and every piece of handmade in wax in our NC studio and then cast in NYC (all done right here in the US). We like to think of morse code as the New Monogram.

I’d love to talk more with you about this collection! Feel free to view the pieces on my website: https://www.maryfrancesflowers.com/morse-code-series/ and get in touch via maryfrances@maryfrancesflowers.com

    Warmly,
    Mary Frances

  11. Hi Linda-

We think of our work as a beautiful collaboration between people and bees, Southern bees that is!

Each step in our hand-crafted process is designed to bring out the natural beauty and healthy burning properties of the 100% pure beeswax we source from Texas beekeepers and transform into premium beeswax candles.

If you think we would bee a good fit for an article, please get in touch. We absolutely love honeybees, the South and functional design. High resolution images available if needed.

    With Gratitude,

    Christine
