After Callie Burnette designed some stylish wedding invitations for a friend, word spread about her work.

In 2011, a part-time passion became a full-time business for the Atlanta native and University of Georgia grad.

At Atlanta-based Calliespondence, the “Cheers” tags ($1 per tag) are popular year-round for hostess and house-warming gifts.

But invitations in bright colors are always in demand. Printed on craft paper, the tireless combination of red and navy give off a natural, easy vibe that sets the right tone for a BBQ or backyard party. Navy and yellow (hot pink too) are other on-trend colors for notepads, note cards and invitations. Also hot: coral when paired with grey and navy.

Visit https://etsy.com/shop/calliespondence to see a selection of Burnette’s modern paper products. Prices range from 50 personalized note cards ($125 and up) with colorful envelope liners. New address announcements, in demand now as families and young college grads are on the move, start at $2.50 each.

In the Atlanta area, find Burnette’s baby and children’s line, which include birth announcements, birthday and shower invitations, at Marguerite Peele Fine Stationery, 2300 Peachtree St., Suite C-103, Atlanta.
