make it personal

February 27, 2012

Influenced by her Southern upbringing in Lexington, Ky., Jane Scott Hodges has long had a fascination with antiques and heirlooms.

As founder of Leontine Linens in New Orleans, it shows.

The shop specializes in couture linens for your bedroom, bath and table. Besides fabric and color, made-to-order options for the luxury linens include hundreds of appliqué and embroidered monogram styles, scalloped edges and decorative piping in a range of modern colors.

The classic look (pictured above) is $1,405 for a queen bed. It includes one queen blanket in classic pique with paprika trim, one queen duvet in white percale with paprika linen trim and two simple Euro shams in paprika linen with white trim. It also features one Euro sham in pique with paprika trim and appliqué Abigail monogram.

You can order pieces separately, such as monogrammed shams, to accent your existing bedding.

Besides its tailor-made linens, Leontine Linens sells a variety of monogrammed gift items, including round jewelry boxes ($60 to $90 shown below) and travel totes ($105 to $140) in three sizes.
