just a slice

December 16, 2011

“O” magazine’s 2011 holiday gift guide includes the cranberry-orange bread ($15) made by Breadwinner in Atlanta.

For any-way-you-slice-it sweet breads, the family-run company is a hit.

Pumpkin is a favorite, but you will find other seasonal favors with fun names like “Papa Don’t Peach Bread” and “Shofar So Good Apple Honey.”

Each loaf is wrapped in a cellophane bag and tied with a satin-colored ribbon that reflects the season.

Or, when you are in Atlanta, pick up a loaf and have lunch at the year-old Breadwinner cafe & bakery, 220 Sandy Springs Circle.
