holiday hang-ups

November 16, 2011

Hanging a classic wreath on the front door is a holiday tradition. If you are in a Martha Stewart mood, make your own wreath from bay leaves, moss or other natural items.

If you’re not, spring for a fresh or dried wreath from The Magnolia Company in  Barberville, Fla.

On the family farm, they grow magnolias used to create wreaths and other hand-crafted decorations, including swags and garland.

Choose one of the eye-popping, lacquered wreaths in holiday red (below), white or silver. They range from 18 inches ($118) to 36 inches ($326).

The  fresh-cut, 24-inch Original Magnolia Wreath ($92 & pictured above) is a best seller. Other favorites include the Pods & Pomegranate and the Pomegranate & Twigs wreaths.
