forever in blue jeans

November 2, 2011

A few years ago, Matt and Carrie Eddmenson moved to Nashville from Kentucky.  Their plan: To design and make their own style of cool, custom-fit jeans for men and women.

Housed in an old gas station, the couple’s house of blue (jeans) is called Imogene + Willie.

Popular with musicians and city slickers, the boutique is named after their grandparents.

Their perfect-fit jeans, made on site, are named for family members. Guys (some girls too) like the popular “Willie” ($250), a classic, straight-leg jean.

But there are some new favorites for fall, including the “Jack” (above). The  men’s barn jacket ($375) made from indigo canvas.

Women who want a classic white shirt with a modern twist will like the “Shara” shirt ($185), made from Japanese cotton. Pair it with the new “Alice” style jeans ($225). Both are pictured below with the “Dale,” a unisex leather vest ($475).
