Since relocating from California to Atlanta nearly two years ago, Marty Webb has been busy szooshing up her Buckhead home.
Bedrooms have been painted. Bathrooms have been renovated. And statement-making lighting fixtures have added a finishing touch to many areas.
Webb found many of her favorite fixtures at Redefined Home Boutique in Atlanta.
It turned out that Webb’s fixtures — from chandeliers and sconces (below) to floor lamps — were all made by Atlanta-based Currey & Co.
The company, which also makes interior and garden furniture, has some new lighting designs this year. Take the colorful Hedy Chandelier (above). The chandelier features polished glass beads that are applied by hand onto an Empire-shaped, wrought-iron frame.
The fixture (about $4,500) is 22 inches round by 33 inches high. It also is available in cream and gray for a subdued look.
Maybe you prefer the industrial look. In that case, consider the Verne Pendant (below). Hang multiples of this wrought iron fixture in a hallway or over a kitchen island. Or hang it alone in a mud room.
The one-light pendant (15 inches round by 20 inches high) is hand finished in Hiroshi Gray. Prices start at $740.
